How Ratings are calculated:
Team’s Winning Percentage (TWP) = (wins + 1/2 ties) / (# games)
Opponent’s Winning Percentage (OWP) = the average of a team's opponents' TWP values
Opponent’s Opponent’s Winning Percentage (OOWP) = the average of a team's opponents' OWP values
Rating = (0.50*TWP + 0.33*OWP + 0.17*OOWP) * 100
Only games played against regional opponents are counted in the ratings.
Three regional games are required for a rating.
Two fall sport ratings are required for a fall ranking.
One winter sport ratings are required for a winter ranking.
Two spring sport ratings are required for a spring ranking.
Five sport ratings are required for an overall ranking for the year.
